Assign poster project; Do character sketches. (Students have character sketches worksheet.)  Poster due Monday June 2nd.
  Finish Sign of the Chrysanthemum: Discuss ch. 17-18.
Homework: "Through fire is the spirit forged."  Think of a difficulty you have faced in your life.  Write 1/2 - 1 page. Include:
a) what happened
b) how you felt at the time
c) how you feel differently about it now
