Welcome to Rancho San Joaquin Physical Education!! The Physical Education staff is excited about the 2008-2009 school year and all that is in store for you! Our P.E. program is one of Southern California's finest among Middle Schools. Our philosophy at Rancho is simply this: Expose students to many unique, traditional, and non-traditional activities and games while providing at the same time an environment that is safe and non-threatening. This kind of environment will allow you to take some risks, play for the sake of playing, and have fun! Rancho Physical Education involves cooperation, teamwork, competition, sportsmanship, personal and group challenges, risk taking, and striving to reach your individual potential and appreciation and enjoyment of movement. Our program is based upon units that range from Archery to Golf, from Medieval Games to Pickleball, and from Circus Skills to PBJ (no, not peanut butter and jelly, but Ping Pong, Bowling, and Jump Rope!) Our Physical Education venues are tops in the county. These venues strive to meet and exceed your fitness goals and aim to stress the importance of the lifelong value of physical activity. We have a Traverse Rock Climbing Wall, a Weight Lab, and a Heart Lab.
