Loaner Program
The P.E. staff at Rancho expects all students to dress out daily. Sometimes situations arise that prevents students from dressing in their normal Physical Education clothing. At Rancho, we strongly believe in safety, daily participation, and uniformity. Because of the high numbers in our P.E. classes, it is critical that all students wear the uniform and not come out in street clothes simply because they "forgot" their clothes, or, mom or dad did not "wash" them prior to class. This is where loaners benefit both students and staff. We provide loaners so students don't have to run and perform in uncomfortable clothing. We are also responsible for your child(ren)and would feel terrible if something went wrong. If he/she is wearing school clothes instead of P.E. clothes, it is hard to acknowledge who is missing and who isn't.Since clothing is part of our class materials, we take dressing out very seriously. (2)Points will be deducted each time they wear loaners; shirt, shorts, or both. The following guidelines will be carried out each trimester:
Girls' Locker Room- students sign out on the clipboard provided in the girl's P.E. office, take the necessary clothing that is folded nicely. Return it to office and place a check mark next to your name. Do not leave clothing on the floor. Boy's Locker Room- students write their name on the white board on locker room stage, taking clothing out of specific bin (small, medium, large/x-large).When P.E. is over, they come in and put the clothes back in the bin and erase their name off the white board. If name is left on the board, those students will have locker room clean up at lunch.Once again, do not leave clothing on the floor.
